Thursday's Storm Update

  Wednesday was indeed a wild day for weather on the Central Coast! High winds and heavy rainfall made for an event that we do not often see around here. I didn't make it back out to take pictures yesterday, however I did shoot some video of the brief yet intense hailstorm in the afternoon, which I will post on YouTube and link later this afternoon.
  I just came in from checking on Pecho Creek, and took some more photos. As you can see, the creek has risen even higher and is now at the highest level that I myself have seen it at. Fortunately there is still a ways to go before it reaches our street level, but I hope that the people downstream aren't getting flooded. It might be kinda nasty down by Laguna Lake!
  This afternoon is supposed to have more intense winds, thunder storms and of course heavy rainfall. Maybe there will be some more hail...yesterdays was good size. Any bigger and it would have definately caused damage. If you need to go out today, stay safe!
